Almighty/ISIS founder Clark
Benson has years of music industry experience, having worked
at record labels (Virgin Records and IRS Records), indie retail,
concert promotion, and college radio prior to starting ISIS. In
addition to ISIS and Almighty, Benson is a cofounder of Off/Beat
Music, an indie retailer in Redondo Beach, CA, as well as eCRUSH.com, a
Top 1000 website. Benson is also the co-author of College: Your Guide to the Best Five Years Of
Your Life, currently tearing up the Amazon.com charts at
# 1,450,732.
Benson is a graduate of the University of
Illinois at Urbana, though he has no idea how well the U of I
sports teams are doing, so don't ask him. He is a well-rounded
individual whose interests include listening to music, seeing
live music, reading about music, talking about music, and going
to record stores. He no longer follows any professional sports
teams.
Joel Oberstein graduated from CSU
Northridge, and spent years with Tempo Music and Pacific Coast
One-Stop. He came to Almighty/ISIS in 1998. He's married and has
a daughter. He is also a rabid Los Angeles Dodgers fan.
