Positioning/Pricing · Indie stores, due to their size and nature, are
tough to secure product placement in. The ISIS program is one of
the only ways to do this. Setting up co-ops at 25 to 105 different independents can take a lot of time and money, which
is where ISIS comes in.
Our listening stations, which
are located in high-visibility areas in each store,
front-merchandise product. For added awareness, a section of the
station features descriptions of each title running,
highlighting focus tracks and tour dates if applicable. It’s
impossible for us to guarantee a specific price point in 105 different accounts; however, all of our stores do guarantee to
price the ISIS titles below
list price for the
month they are running. For example, a $16.98 list price
CD will be priced between $11.99 and $14.99 depending on the
store. We also give stores signage to place throughout
the store or in the front window to add further awareness of the
titles and drive consumers to the station.
All Listening Stations Are NOT Created Equal

ISIS uses the most reliable and user-friendly stations made, the
High Level Marketing stations (the same ones Tower Records
uses). These are large, floor-standing stations, NOT small,
wall-mounted ones. 12-disc stations have proven to be the best
to spur impulse listens; once a consumer has headphones on, they
tend to check out other records on the station.
